Patryk Krukowski is a PhD student at IDEAS NCBR and at the Doctoral School of Natural Sciences at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He currently works on methods to eliminate the problem of catastrophic forgetting in continual learning. He is interested in deep learning, natural language processing, generative models and reinforcement learning. He graduated in Mathematics and Statistics from the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and a master’s degree in Computer Science – Data Science from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. His master’s thesis was on the use of PINNs (Physics Informed Neural Networks) to solve partial differential equations.
