Maksymilian Kulicki is a PhD student in the Precision Forestry team at Ideas NCBR and at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Furthermore, he completed his master’s studies in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam, where he specialized in computer vision. His current work focuses on developing Deep Learning models to improve forest inventory processes, including tree species classification and health assessment. The developed models make use of various remote sensing data, with a particular emphasis on close-range LiDAR.
