Yousef Erfanifard is an Associate Professor at the University of Tehran, Iran. He received his Ph.D. in Forestry and Forest Economics from the University of Tehran, Iran. Yousef is mainly interested in integration of airborne remote sensing in the spatial ecology of forest and woodland ecosystems. He has published almost 80 research papers on topics such as ecological interactions of trees and application remotely sensed datasets obtained from aerial platforms (e.g., UAV) in biostatistics of forests at single tree levels. In cooperation with Prof. Krzysztof Sterenczak, he has also conducted research on the spatial pattern of trees and their interactions in Polish forests. An approximate number of 27 M.Sc. and Ph.D. candidates finished their theses.
