Hi, I’m Maciej, and I’m doing a PhD at IDEAS NCBR and IPPT PAN (TIB PAN Doctoral School) under the supervision of Prof. Piotr Miłoś and Prof. Dominik Pisarski.
In my research, I focus on developing and better understanding the architecture of large language models (LLMs). I’m particularly fascinated by problems related to their scaling and efficiency — including training and inference speed. Most of my work revolves around Mixture of Experts (MoE) models. My greatest scientific dream would be to contribute a small piece to the creation of AGI (artificial general intelligence).
In my free time, I dance swing (Charleston, Lindy Hop), play musical instruments, and learn foreign languages.
