Jakub Szymkowiak is a Computer Science student at the Doctoral School of Natural Sciences at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and a PhD student in the Computer Graphics Research Group at IDEAS NCBR. His scientific interests include topics related to geometry and the motion of objects in neural scene representations as well as differentiable rendering. As part of his PhD, he conducts research on dynamic 3+1-dimensional scene representations based on images and videos, using the 3D Gaussian Splatting method and computer vision tools.
