Hey, I’m Daniel Marczak, a PhD student at Warsaw University of Technology.
My goal is to make machine learning models that are constantly evolving and developed in a collaborative, modular, and efficient way. In particular, I am interested in continual learning, an effective and efficient way of updating models without deteriorating previously acquired capabilities. Most recently, I am focused on understanding and improving “model merging” — finding fast and cheap ways to fuse the knowledge of multiple expert models.
When I’m not in the lab, you can find me traveling, climbing and enjoying good food.
