Julia is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN), at the TIB PAN Doctoral School. They are an OSINT specialist and a social media analyst. They conduct research in the field of disinformation detection and are currently working on detecting manipulation in posts and article headlines. They spend their free time playing RPGs and computer games, accompanied by their husband, their dog, and their rats.
