We are currently looking for Candidates for the following post:

POSTDOC – ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE / IT
Place of work: Warsaw

Post description:

You will conduct research and development works related to such issues as:

• the use of IT tools in the digital economy,
• learning data structures,
• data science algorithms,
• development of blockchain and decentralized finance (DeFi) technologies,
• works on blockchain smart contract systems,
• formal verification of the security of blockchain-based protocols,
• other related scientific issues.

The post is focused on research with the minimum educational duties.

Criteria for selection of Candidates:

• experience in working on artificial intelligence; nice to have AI-based solutions implementation experience,
• machine learning experience,
• experience in working on cryptocurrencies and blockchain,
• experience with automatic verification systems,
• education: PhDs graduates – preferred fields of study: IT, mathematics or other science studies with simultaneous experience in working with AI or blockchain,
• foreign language: knowledge of English at a very good level,
• ability to work with software: Python or R, JIRA, Confluence,
• very good programming skills.

Professional development prospects:

• participation in the research on the artificial intelligence/cryptocurrency,
• participation in the international research projects,
• specialized trainings or research schools.

Conditions of employment:

• form of employment: contract of employment
• remuneration: PLN 12 500 gross (approx. PLN 10 000 net),
• the Innovation Bonus – a share in the benefits of future commercialization of the results of a Research Project, constituting an additional remuneration in relation to the basic remuneration. The Innovation Bonus, depending on the adopted model of commercialization of the results of the Research Project, may take the form of:
  • the right to participate in our income from their commercialization (in particular in the form of a license or disposal of intellectual property rights), or
• the right of acquisition of shares or stocks in a spin-out company commercializing such solutions.
