Adra was created in 2021 as the private side of the European Partnership on AI, Data and Robotics, one of the European Partnerships in Cluster 4 (digital, industry, and space) in Horizon Europe.

Adra is an opinion-forming organization, containing the most important information and opinions of European institutions related to AI, data and robotics. Its aim is to “boost new markets, applications and attract investment, to create technical, economic and societal value for business, citizens and the environment” in these technologies in Europe.

Adra unites European research institutions and the ADR industry, speaking with one voice before various international and local institutions. It enables its members to shape Europe’s future based on AI, data and robotics, so that Europe can effectively confront its main socio-economic challenges. Adra helps its members formulate research and innovation goals based on the analysis of issues such as sustainable development, ecological footprint, regulations od technology. It contributes to creating a European environment for the development of new ideas.

One of the founding associations of Adra is thr ELLIS Society, which IDEAS NCBR joined in November last year. We see this new membership as a step in staying at the forefront of tech advancements in the EU.
