Autism Awareness Month is an opportunity to open the office doors. Autism is often associated with disease, diagnosed late in life and perceived through stereotypes – at IDEAS NCBR we know that it can be looked at differently.

This week we were visited by a group of people on the autism spectrum. We showed the guests around our office in Varso Tower, told them about the work of researchers at IDEAS NCBR and the tasks of support employees.

Members of the “Precision Forestry” research team invited guests to the digital forest, while members of the “Psychiatry and Computational Phenomenology” team showed what stereotypes related to autism are generated by the most popular AI graphics generators and talked about how artificial intelligence can help in diagnosis of autism.

Thanks The Cognity for coordinating and our researchers and staff for their openness!
