Grants worth over PLN 1 million for young IDEAS NCBR researchers

Maciej Wołczyk, postdoc at IDEAS NCBR, will receive 604,072 PLN for the project Pre-training Is Just the First Step: Fine-tuning Decision Models Through Reinforcement Learning as part of OPUS 27 grant competition.

Moreover, 5 PhD students will receive PRELUDIUM 23 grants:

Longlai Qiu – Generative AI for the Physical World – 186,660 PLN

Grzegorz Rypeść – Overcoming Forgetting in Continual Learning with an Ensemble of Experts – 53,070 PLN

Filip Szatkowski – Continual Learning with Conditional Computation Networks – 53,070 PLN

Damian Sójka – Reliable and Efficient Real-World Test-Time Adaptation – 106,140 PLN

The total value of all these projects is 1,056,082 PLN.
