At IDEAS NCBR, we are constantly looking for new talents. If you are a graduate/graduate of mathematics, IT, technical computer science, information technology or a related discipline and you want to pursue a scientific career, please share your plans with us by applying for a PhD student / PhD candidate in our company. PhD application scheme
If you are a graduate of mathematics, computer science, technical computer science, information technology or another related field, interested in applying to the IDEAS NCBR program with doctoral schools, the following actions will help you go through the entire process:
On the NCBR IDEAS side:

Select the topic you are interested in from the active list above. You can also propose your own topic.

Apply to your selected group
Apply to the group or team of your choice. Links to individual offers can be found at the bottom of the page. You may be asked to prepare projects for a recruitment interview. You can find the guidelines here.

Send us your application
After reviewing the submitted applications, we will invite selected candidates to an interview.
On the university side:

Choose a doctoral school
Choose the doctoral school that interests you, which recruits in the discipline of computer science, technical computer science – in the one that interests you the most and which will allow you to apply to IDEAS NCBR. The list of universities we cooperate with can be found on the map above.

Select a topic and contact your promoter
On the website of the doctoral school, see the detailed list of proposed doctoral theses topics. – Remember that the topics may not be the same in IDEAS NCBR and in the doctoral school.

Complete the documents and inform about your intent to cooperate with IDEAS NCBR
Contact your potential promoter to obtain their pre-approval.
Complete all documentation. You will definitely need:- Cover letter, CV, etc. – Very important! Remember that each doctoral school may require slightly different documents, so before you submit them, check if you really have all the required documentation!
- Inform the doctoral school that you want to implement the program in cooperation with IDEAS NCBR.

Check the interview dates
Interviews may, but do not have to, take place simultaneously at the university and IDEAS NCBR – check the dates. -
Positive result – signing a contract with IDEAS NCBR
If you pass both interviews positively, IDEAS NCBR will prepare a promise of employment for you, and ultimately an employment contract. -
Submit your documents
Submit all documents to the university – be sure to check the requirements on the university website. -

the possibility of implementing your individual research program as part of research conducted at IDEAS NCBR,
we treat the time devoted to the doctoral school as working time at IDEAS NCBR, and your work schedule will be individually adapted to the schedule of classes, which will allow you to fully focus on development in a given scientific area without having to worry about daily earnings,
you are enrolled in the doctoral school in an “over-the-limit” mode, IDEAS NCBR will provide full funding for your doctoral scholarship (IDEAS NCBR will provide the doctoral school with funds to finance your scholarship),
the contract for research and development services concluded with us will provide you with a total remuneration in the amount of PLN 12,000 gross + scholarship,
the possibility of obtaining an innovative bonus – future participation in the benefits of commercialization of the results of a research project, which may be an additional source of income for you or a future workplace,
support in the accommodation process for the duration of stay at the headquarters of IDEAS NCBR (PhD students from outside Warsaw),
