19.07.2024Maciej Wołczyk is a postdoc at IDEAS NCBR. His research focuses on efficient adaptation of deep learning models, especially in the context of continual learning and reinforcement learning. He graduated from the Jagiellonian University and held internships at ETH Zurich, Lyft, Woven Planet and Samsung, where he conducted research on machine learning. He has published in top journals and scientific conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI and IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks.
In May, Maciej Wołczyk and Piotr Kicki, also working at IDEAS NCBR, received the START 2024 FNP Foundation for Polish Science scholarship awarded to 100 of the most talented young scientists in Poland.
