IDEAS NCBR establishes cooperation with IIIT-Delhi

On November 24, Piotr Sankowski and Pushpendra Singh signed a Memorandum of Understanding between IDEAS NCBR and IIIT-Delhi (Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology in Delhi).

This is our first MoU with a research center in India. Similarly to IDEAS NCBR, IIIT-Delhi is a relatively young institution, dynamically developing and focused on scientific excellence.

The partnership will enable IDEAS NCBR and IIIT-Delhi to organize joint research initiatives and doctoral education, organize seminars, symposia, short-term academic programs, and will also create opportunities for the exchange of PhD students and researchers.

To begin our cooperation, Piotr Sankowski gave a lecture “Parallel and Dynamic Algorithms for PageRank – Are Random Walks Necessary?”
