Assumed background of participants:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school is generally targeted to PhD and master’s students and postdocs, but we will also welcome other participants, including those from the industry and the governmental sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We require solid backgrounds in undergraduate mathematics (primarily algebra, linear algebra, and probability theory), theoretical computer science (especially complexity theory), and cryptography. We do not assume prior knowledge of quantum physics, quantum computing, and post-quantum cryptography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School’s content:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school will cover the main areas of this field:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Standard post-quantum algorithms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Cryptography and quantum information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objective of this school is to survey recent developments in the areas mentioned above. As a result, the participants will be equipped with the most current knowledge of post-quantum cryptography. This will include both the post-quantum technology that is ready to be widely deployed in real life and more academic topics, such as fully homomorphic encryption and research on combining quantum information with (post-quantum) computational assumptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
